Professional Photos

Liz & Donna took Alli to get professional photos the other day.  They did a really good job getting some good shots of her.  The picture at the top was one of the pictures.  Below are the other pictures.  Please note that we don't own a scanner so for the time being, we've taken a picture of the picture to get it on the blog (the quality isn't that good).  Isn't she just the most adorable thing you've ever seen?!?!? Hope you enjoy!

Such a Fun Baby!

Here are some more cute pictures of Alli from the past few days.  She's so fun to be around and is so adorable.  Hope you enjoy these pictures and the videos in the two previous posts.

Standing Up

Look at those strong legs - ok, so she's not standing up on her own, but she's pretty darm close!  :-)

What a BIG SMILE!

This is the best part of both of our days - getting to see Alli smile.  She's so adorable!

First Trip to the Mall

Mom just sent me these pictures of Alli's first trip to the Mall.  I've never been a fan of bows, but she looks pretty darn cute!

Cricket is 7 weeks old today!

Where did that time go.... Here are some recent pictures of her smiling and pushing up with her feet (yes she has strong legs like her Mom!) We have so much fun during the day... it seems each day gets better than the last. Her smile just makes you melt... I don't think the pictures do it justice. She loves to be talked to and she thinks its so funny when her Dad gets her piggies (tickles her feet)! She is still fighting off a cold but we are thinking its getting better.  We did get her out to take a walk... it was 70 degrees and sunny, we couldn't pass that up.  Once her cold is gone we are going to try and get her to sleep in her bed, right now its on Mom's chest. It may be harder for me than it is for her, I can't seem to put her down. She is just so sweet to cuddle with! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Here she is with Dad and Buddy- I think Buddy liked the walk the best!

Congratulations to our friends Chris and Liz!!

Our friends Chris and Liz just had a baby daughter on January 13th!  Her name is Parker Lilly and she is just adorable!!  We are so happy for them and so happy that Cricket has another friend to play with!  Welcome Parker!

SO Photogenic!

Isn't she so photogenic?  We snapped some cute pictures of her the other day and thought we'd share.  Everyone is saying that she looks like her mother.  I really haven't seen it until I took these pictures.

The last picture is a shout out to my Grandpa Walter Payne.  I know that I got my ears from him and it's now official that the Payne ears have been passed along to my child!  Liz won't let me hold them out because she's afraid they are going to get stuck like that!  I personally love it that she has Payne Ears!  :-)

Cricket turns 6 weeks old in 40 minutes.  TIME FLIES WHEN YOU'RE HAVING FUN!!!

Gangsta Alli  :-)

I've been coming home everyday to have lunch with my girls

See any resemblance? :-)

Week 5

Cricket turned 5 weeks old this past Thursday.  She is really starting to grow up.  When she's awake, she is really alert and loves looking around.  She likes all of the colors on the TV and in her play gym thing (see video below).  She loves hanging out with Mommy and listening to Mom talk in a baby voice.  Unfortunately, she has developed a cold over the past couple of days and has been coughing and had a stuffy nose.  We feel so helpless that there is nothing that we can do to make her feel better.  She's started to get a little bit better today, so please say a prayer that it goes away soon.

I have figured out what her favorite word is: Cricket.  Everytime I ask her if she is our Cricket, she gets a big smile on her face.  Last night she even gave us a small giggle.  She really enjoys to hear the name.  I've been catching myself calling her different things like Cricket, Alli, and Allison, but with the way she enjoys hearing that word, I think I'm going to stay with Cricket.

We don't have a lot of new pictures because we really haven't left the house with her feeling bad, but here are some cute ones of her around the house and of us at Grammy and Grampy's on New Years.  Hope you enjoy!
