Scott's grandparents came to visit us last weekend and we had so much fun with them!!! They got in on Thursday night and we picked them up from the airport went to dinner and then they got to hang out with Alli and Ben for the rest of the night!
Then on Friday G&G, Alli, Ben and I went to meet my mom and Callie for breakfast. Callie really liked Grandpa! Then later in the day Uncle Brad, Aunt McKenzie, Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Lucas and the kids came over for the weekend! It was so nice to have everyone here and all the kids got to play with each other! Its so much fun to see them all together! We had a big thunderstorm on Friday night and the house 2 up from us got struck by lighting and caught on fire. That was a little bit scary. (the family got out and are okay)
On Saturday we went to the horse races so we could do a little gambling! We were lucky to find a table in the shade where we could also see the races! I think Grandpa and the boys enjoyed this the best!!! On our way home we went to dinner at Dairy Queen and had some ice cream for dessert! I think Lucy liked this the best!!
Then Sunday we hung out at the house most of the day, then went to Babe's Chicken House for dinner! Grandpa really enjoyed this! He said the chicken and the corn tasted pretty close to what his mom would make! We took some family pictures and then on the way home we stopped for frozen yogurt! Lindsay had to trick Logan because according to Logan he doesn't like yogurt so Lindsay said "okay how about some chocolate ice cream?" after Logan ate it all we let him know that he in fact does like yogurt!! We hung out the rest of the night and let the kids have a dance party!!
Then Monday morning we dropped Grandma and Grandpa off at the airport. Alli cried when they started walking away and pouted the rest of the way home. Grandma and Grandpa did not get on their flight due to storms. In fact, they didn't get on a flight until that night and didn't get home until midnight but they did make it home safe! We had so much fun with everyone! Can't wait until next time!
