The Adventures of Allison & Benjamin: Easter Weekend 2011

We had such a fun weekend! On Saturday morning we dyed and decorated eggs, then durning Alli's nap the Easter Grand-Bunny came to give her and Ben their Easter baskets from Grammy and Grampy! Alli loved picking up the trail of eggs! Then on Saturday night Scott, me and Ben went out to dinner with some of our friends. Alli got to hang out with Grammy and Grampy! We had a grat time at dinner and Ben did real good until the end - then he wanted to be held! When we got home Alli was all wound up from having so much fun with Grammy and Grampy! She didnt go to bed until late and as soon as she fell asleep our power went out from 60 mph winds. Thankfully both kids slept thru it and the power was back up a couple hours later!

Then towards the end of dinner. Looks like Wyatt has the magic touch - not!

Then Sunday morning we went to Church with Grammy, Grampy and Uncle Jim. During Church the Easter bunny came and brought Alli and Ben more baskets!! I think Alli liked picking up the egg trail beter than the baskets!! After that Aunt Sarah, Uncle Dave and the kids came over before we headed to brunch. We attempted to take a picture of the kids in their matching outfits. That was a chore! Then it was time to go to brunch and the egg hunt! Alli loved the egg hunt and got a TON of eggs! They had it split up for kids under 3 so that helped! After the hunt was done Alli kept trying to give her eggs and candy back to the Easter bunny! Then we had brunch and headed over to Grammy and Grampy's to go swimming and celerbrate Grammy's birthday! Ben got to swim for the first time! He liked it but only for a little bit, he got tired and hungry so we only lasted about 30 minutes. Alli on the other hand LOVED it!!! She has always liked the water but this is the first time shes been in the pool in months so she was able to play more in the pool. Her favorite thing was to splash Daddy! She was cracking up! Then she would put her head under and come up laughing! I can't wait to get her swim lessons in the fall. She also liked the tube, she liked spinning in it!! After swimming she took a very short nap and then got to playing with her cousins! Then it was time to sing to Grammy and have cake! Such a great time with our friends and family!!
