It has been such a fun time in the Payne household!! We are enjoying Ben so much!!! Alli wishes she could hold him more... but when she does she wants to squeeze him like she does her baby dolls or points out his eyes, nose and mouth. So most of my day is spent playing defense so that Alli doesn't poke Ben in the eye or throw a book at his head! She always trys to give him toys to play with! She will also try to give him some of her milk or juice from her sippy cup! I dont have a picture of this but it is the cutest sweetest thing to see her want to make him happy! Alli also wakes up in the morning saying "Buh-Buh" (thats what she calls Ben). So now when we get downstairs, we say hi to Buh-Buh and Puppy!!
Ben is a wonderful baby!! He sleeps, eats and poops!! He is starting to be more awake and alert during the day and when Alli sees his eyes open she yells "BUH-BUH!" with a big smile on her face! I think Ben might have a minor case of reflux. This is a new thing to me. He doesn't throw up a bunch but he will make a swallowing sound and fuss like he is in pain after he eats and when he is laying flat on his back. This is getting better and from what I have been told they just grow out of it, so hopefully that will be coming soon! Most nights Ben will have a 4 hour stretch that he sleeps and then want to be fed and he goes back to sleep so thats nice for me! I am still holding him to sleep! Yes, I did it with Allison for the first 3 months so I just might do it with Ben that long too!!

With everyone in town we were really busy, so Alli didnt take her normal nap. Instead she fell asleep in her highchair!

This was a very rare sight in Alli's first 13 months. Now that shes acting like a 2 year old and has a little jealousy, we see this a little more often. She is still the sweetest little girl!!! The fits don't last very long!
