Ok, so I know that we just had Christmas and its a New Year and all but I have to do a post about our Thanksgiving so that we have this to look back on and so you all can see cute pictures of the kiddos! Hope you enjoy! I also have to do Alli's 2nd Birthday party post, Christmas, New Years and soon to be Ben's 1st Birthday...Wow I am so far behind!!
This year for Thanksgiving my parents took all us kids and grandkids to Disney World!!! To say that we had fun is an understatement! We had a BLAST!! (I mean of course there was the normal fighting/bickering you get when you have 12 family members living together for a week, especially if one is a brother in law!!) Then things slowed down towards the end and we had Pukefest 2011! Yes, on Thanksgiving Day Ben got a tummy bug and shared that with Callie, Andy and my sister! Thankfully everyone was feeling better (or at least keeping things down) before we had to get on a flight back home!
We left on Friday night, so my plan was to have the kids in their jammies and hopefully they would fall asleep on the plane and be out for the night.... Yeah, so much for my plan. I think they made it to bed around 2am!! But they were happy and having fun so it wasn't a big deal.

Monday we took it easy in the morning and then headed over to Universal Studios! No we did not make it to the Harry Potter part, but my sister and the kids did and loved every second of it!! There was not a ton that Alli could do, as far as rides go but they had a Barney show and a playground so that was fun for both kiddos!

Tuesday was a BIG day!! We (the girls) got to have breakfast with all the Princesses at Cinderella's castle! Alli and Callie had so much fun!!! (My sister was in heaven!! She thinks she is a princess!)

Wednesday we went back to Universal Studios! We let the kids sleep in and also take a nap before we left so it was late by the time we got to the park. As soon as we got there Alli ran into someone she knows!! As we were waiting to meet up with the other group Scott tried to win Alli a prize and Alli got her face painted! Then we headed to Dr. Suess land to ride some rides!

Thursday was Thanksgiving!! Even though Ben was up puking all night, Thanksgiving Day was still a blast!! (Ben was all smiles when he wasn't getting sick!) We just stayed home took it easy, had a turkey dinner and then we ALL watched a movie in the theater room!! It was just so awesome to all be together!

Friday we had planned on going to Hollywood studios all day. Since Ben was still not doing good we didn't make it there until later in the day. Grammy and I took Ben to a Doctors office while Scott stayed home with Alli. The doctor said he was fine and to just let it run it's course. So we gave Ben lots of Pedialite that he was able to keep down and we let him stay at home with Scott so that Alli could go see all the Disney junior charcters! (Scott got the Dad of the year award for this!) When we got to the park we went straight to go see the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show!! It even had the Little Enisteins and Jake and the Neverland Pirates in it! Alli loved it!! Then we were off to some rides and we ended the day watching the dancing lights!

On Saturday we had a late flight so we took our time getting out of the house and to the airport. Sarah, Callie and Andy all got sick on Friday night so they werent moving very fast and wewere worried that everyone else was going to get the bug on the flight back, but we were very lucky and everything went good! Before we headed to the airport we were able to see the mission to Mars fly by the house! Alli loved seeing a rocket ship!! The flight back home was good. Alli sat with Scott and watched movies and Ben sat with me and slept most the way! It was nice to be back home but it was sad to leave! Alli did not want to be back home! As soon as we pulled into our garage she started crying and saying "no, I want to go to my Florida house!" She has finally gotten over this!
