My how times have changed!

Here are some new videos of Alli.  It's only been a few months since the videos below them were taken.  She has grown so much over the past couple months.  We LOVE it when she jabbers on and on and love the video we captured of it.  The last video we had of her was when she first started to learn to make sounds.  The other videos of her are when she first learned to pick up her head compared to her now where she is scooting along the bed crawling.  Hope you enjoy seeing the differences as much as we do.

Happy Birthday Uncle Brad!!

Today is Uncle Brad's Birthday!  Since he is over in Iraq, we can't call him and wish him a Happy Birthday. But since we know he is able to check the blog, we are going to do it here.

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday Uncle Brad!
Happy Birthday to you!!
(pretend this is way off pitch and hurts your ears - then it's just like us singing to you in real life!)

We hope that you are able to enjoy your birthday! We want to tell you that we are very proud of you and that we love you very much and can't wait for you to come home!!!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!

So it's very late or early for some so I will make this post quick...  I just want to tell my Daddy how awesome I think he is and thank him for loving me so much and being the best Daddy EVER!!!  Here are a few things that I love about my Daddy:

He always plays with me and makes me laugh!
He gives great hugs and kisses!
He gives me bottles and feeds me my baby food!  He makes eating more fun then Mommy does!
He changes my diapers sometimes even the stinky ones!!
I love when Daddy gets me out of bed on weekends! I get a big smile on my face!!
Plus, Daddy lets me hang out in his "man cave" with him and watch the Rangers!!!

I think I have the best Daddy EVER!!! Happy Father's Day!!!  I love you Daddy!!  Here are some pictures of me and my Daddy!!

p.s. Mommy told me to tell you she thinks you are pretty awesome too!!!

Fathers Day and 6 month old pictures!

Yesterday, we went to get pictures taken for Scott for Father's Day. Also, since I didn't have any professional pictures of her for 6 months, we went ahead and did those too! She did a great job! I told her when she woke up yesterday that we were going to go get pictures taken for Daddy and she would just get a big smile on her face! It was so sweet!!! So while we were there I said, "Okay, make sure to smile real big and listen to the lady" and she did just that! Here are all the pictures that were taken. I still can't decide on which ones to get. Leave a comment and tell me which one is your favorite. The baseball ones are for Daddy for Father's Day. (I couldn't wait until Sunday to show him, so he got his Fathers day early) He plans on putting them in his office at work and in his "Man Cave" at home where he watches all of his baseball (the garage). We hope you like them!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!

HEY EVERYONE! I'm BACK! Sooooo, Daddy and Mommy are watching the TV and I somehow snuck the laptop into my play-pen without them looking! Yummy - this cord taste good! Just kidding!

I have to make this quick since they are sitting 5 feet away from me. Today is Mommy's 28th birthday. She is 56 times older than me today! Today, me and Daddy took Mommy out for lunch. Also, me and Daddy planned ahead this year and made signs on the computer for Mommy. Daddy put them up as I distracted Mommy by going to bed early last night. I'll post pictures of them below. I also gave Daddy 10 cents from my allowance to go and buy Mommy flowers and a balloon (really, I wanted the balloon) when he got off of work. Pictures of the flowers are below as well.

Happy Birthday Mommy! I'm so happy that I got to spend your birthday with you today! You are the best Mommy ever! I love you!

p.s. Daddy says he loves you too!!!

6 months old!!!!

This past Thursday, Allison turned 6 months old!!! I really don't know where the time has gone. She is growing up so fast!!! It is so fun to see how she is learning new things and getting more of a personality everyday!! She has always been a happy baby but now she is a happy, talkative, AND crawling baby! She started pushing up on her arms around 4 months old. Then while we were in Pittsburgh and she was with all her big cousins that were crawling and walking, I guess she decided she didn't want to be left behind. So after some rocking back in fourth, she finally started to scoot. Then she started moving one leg at a time. Now she has even learned that she can pull herself up on things. The other morning, she stood up in her crib and looked around like "what do I do now" and then fell down - it was very cute but scary at the same time. So now when she starts to crawl, she tries to stand up and gets in a pike position. Time will only tell to see how long that lasts before she is walking.

On Friday, we had her 6 month checkup and the Doctor said she looks great and that her motor skills are very advanced. I guess I was the only one that was concerned with the fact that she has only gained 3 ozs in the last 2 months. Going into the appointment, I knew that she hadn't gained very much weight but I didn't think it would be that little. But the Doctor didn't seem to think it was a problem since she is gaining a little weight and is a happy baby. He said that babies usually plateau around 9 months because they become active. Since she is active already, I think that's why she is not gaining as fast. The Doctor said that we would just see the progress at her 9 month old checkup and that if I was worried before then I could bring her in for a weight check. Well, instead of worrying if she is getting enough to eat, I decided to start supplementing her diet with some formula. This was the first time she has had formula and she didn't mind it at all. She also gets fruits and veggies and she is going to start eating baby food meats. Here are the stats from the check up:

Weight - 15lbs 7oz - 38%
Height - 27in - 87%
Head - 16 3/4in - 52%

Here are some pictures of our little 6 month old! It is so crazy to think that 6 months ago she wasn't even here. I don't even know what we did before her. We love spending every second we can with her!! Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we do!
