Cutest Girl Ever!

So I think that we'd all agree that my wife has been doing an AWESOME job keeping the blog up to date.  And for those that really know her, they know that this is completely not like her to post all of this information and to occasionally talk about her "feelings".  But I just wanted to acknowledge her for the great job that she's been doing.

That being said, I wanted to jump on and post two pictures that I took of my daughter tonight before my softball game of her in my softball hat.  This will definitely be the next picture that I hang of my daughter at desk at work.  I think that you'll agree that she is the cutest thing ever!

Today is my Dad's birthday and we wanted to wish him a happy one and many, many, many more!!! It is so sweet to see Cricket with her Grampy, she loves him so much and he just brightens up when she's around!!  Buddy also loves his Grampy, Buddy will cuddle up to him any time he gets!!  Happy Birthday Grampy! We love you!

Rice Cereal

At Allison's 4 month check up the doctor told us that we could start her on solid foods if we wanted to. At the time I didn't really want to start because the AAP recommends that you wait until 6 months to give them solids.  Well, I gave in when she started pulling and grabbing at anything I was eating.  Then if you put a spoon in front of her she would open her mouth like "give me some!" So, since she is 5 months today we gave in and she had cereal for the first time yesterday!! She loved it!!! We took some pictures of her first time eating cereal!! Hope you enjoy!

Today is my Mom's birthday and we had a birthday celebration for her and my Dad yesterday!  As always, it was so much fun to be with them!  My Mom is such a big part of our lives it was just natural that she would be a big part of Cricket's life.  And since she has been watching Alli everyday while we are at work, they have become best friends now.  It is really fun to see the two of them together!!!  We love you Grammy!!  We hope that you have a wonderful birthday and many many more!!

Cricket's Baptism

Yesterday was a great day for Allison...she got baptized! She was so good during the ceremony!  She didn't cry when Monsignor poured the water over her head or when he rubbed the oil in her hair.  She just looked at him with an adorable stare.  She was enamored with the long white dress that she had on and couldn't have looked cuter.  She did an awesome job and we couldn't be happier for our baby girl!


Then after the ceremony we had everyone over for a celebration! It was a wonderful day! Here are some of the many pictures we took!
