Happy Birthday Emma!!

We went WILD at Emma's birthday party!! That was the theme of the party... It was at a gymnastic center where the kids could run, jump, swing and go WILD!!!  It was so much fun and Emma was just adorable as always!!  The crowd favorite was the rope swing where the kids fell in to a pool of foam!  No, Allison didn't get to do the swing but she did get to work on her new skill- rolling over!!

Alli ready for the party in her WILD animal print!

Bath time!

We took some pictures of Cricket at bath time the other night...She loves bath time! She loves kicking her feet and splashing water all over and she looks in the mirror and smiles at the baby she sees!! Its so sweet! I had to do the traditional mohawk for the pictures!

Those hands are always in her mouth!

All done!

Hanging out with Uncle Brad!

Uncle Brad was home form Iraq for 2 weeks so Allison got to meet her Uncle and we got to spend some quality time with him!  We love you very much Uncle Brad and we are so PROUD of you!

Alli loves kisses from her Uncle Brad!!

St Patty's Day

I know this post is a little late but I hope everyone had a great St. Patty's day!! I hope you had some green beer and some corned beef and cabbage!! We didn't get to have the beer but we did get the Irish food! We had to make sure we celebrated Cricket's 1st St. Patrick's Day! So Grammy, Aunt Sarah and the kids and Allison and me went to a Irish bar/resturant.... I know you are probaly thinking what is she doing taking a baby to a bar... well, it's a bar in Frisco- one of the most kid friendliest places plus it was smoke free and it was during lunch so people weren't crazy yet....it was lots of fun and Alli really enjoyed it!!

Our little McCutie!!
Such a happy baby!!
Gumby was there!

Saturday

It was a busy and eventful day for Cricket...  First, Grammy, Cricket and I met up with Nana, Aunt Amy, Emma, Aunt Sarah, Cousin Callie and her friend Allison for Callie's 3rd birthday party!!!  It was at Sweet and Sassy, this is a cute store for little girls ! (Cricket was a little young to join in, but she had a fun time watching!)

The girls got their nails painted, their hair put in princess up-dos and sparkle lip gloss and eye shadow put on! I couldn't believe how still the girls were while the lady was doing all this.  It was so cute!  Also, the Birthday girl got her ears pierced. (I did not agree with this...but I'm just the aunt... so what I thought didn't matter.)

And here comes the ear piercing...

The crying didn't last long...nothing a lollipop couldn't fix.

Then, it was off to go see Uncle Brad and the rest of the family.  We went over to Duke's house for a cookout and to celebrate Uncle Lucas, Marty and Duke's birthdays! Allison was a little fussy to say the least. (it was moms fault for having her out all day) After things settled down she was back to her normal self and enjoyed being with everyone!

Cousin Lucy!! She is adorable!!

Cricket had such a fun day! As soon as we started the car to go home she was out like a light.  When we got home she was still out so I put the carrier in bed with me so that I would hear her when she woke up
(normally 15-30 minutes).  Well, she didn't wake up until 5:30. I woke up a few times to check on her and thought I should take a picture.  I felt so bad she was in the carrier all night but, I don't think she minded.

This past week...

Cricket had a busy week.  On Tuesday our friend Jennifer came over to hang out with us.  It was so nice to see her and Cricket loved playing with her. Jenn couldn't believe how much Cricket had grown since the last time she had seen her!

On Wednesday Aunt Sarah and Cousin Callie came over to hang with us and have lunch.  It just so happens that Callie and Alli have matching outfits (this is going to be a trend).... So, we had to get pictures of the little girls in their matching outfits.  When I told Callie she was going to have to hold Allison so we can take their picture she was so excited!!  She said "okay, let me go wash my hands" and then was on the couch ASAP waiting to hold her.  It was so cute!  Then my Mom was having a St. Patty's day themed bunco party at her house so Allison and I stop by. Yes, Alli was dressed for the occasion!!!

Then on Thursday it was Cousin Andy's 6th Birthday!!  So we went out to Dickeys BBQ (his choice) for his Birthday dinner. I can't believe our little Andy is 6 years old!!! We had a blast like always and enjoyed being with family!

So last night we took it easy and chilled out at home. Grampy came over after work to meet Grammy  and play with Allison for a bit! Allison had lots to tell Grampy!

Today Allison and I are going to Cousin Callie's princess party!! Callie turns 3 on Tuesday so we are having a girls day today and then will celebrate with the full family on Tuesday! (don't worry we will have pictures later this week!)
