One Week Old
Today, Cricket turned one week old. To celebrate, we thought we'd post some new pictures from today. She's growing like a weed! Check out all of that hair - and the beautiful pictures of Mommy too! Speaking of Mommy, doesn't she look great?!?!?

Blizzard Allison
Please don't get them confused! :-)
Blizzard Allison causes power outages
December 9th, 2009
GREEN BAY, WI - The extremely wet and heavy snow caused by Blizzard Allison has resulted in power outages throughout the state.
Wisconsin Public Service is reporting about 12,000 customers without power. There are currently outages in Green Bay, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee, Sturgeon Bay, and Two Rivers.
Blizzard Allison has blanketed Northeast Wisconsin in snow. The trees are covered and the power lines are sagging.

Hands Up!
I mentioned below that Cricket loves to sleep with her hands in the air. I was able to get a video of it taking place. The video is kind of dark, but really cute. Hope you can see it well enough.
What a Wonderful Baby!
The last few days of being home from the hospital have been great. Spending all day with our little one really makes us feel so blessed to have such a healthy and beautiful baby. Thanks to Grammy for all of her help over the past few days. With her help, we've actually got some sleep and had some hot cooked meals. Mom is doing awesome! She's so patient and loving. I don't think I can say this enough - she is going to be a GREAT mother!
Cricket had her first Doctor's appointment yesterday so she got to get dressed up and take a ride in the car. Grammy bought her some pink outfits so she got to wear one of those. She loves the car rides but hates being put into her carrier. See pictures below of her 1st pink outfit.
Cricket and I had a good moment this evening. We got to watch our first University of Illinois basketball game together (see last picture). Cricket was getting frustrated with the 2-3 Zone defense Illinois was running, but felt good about their backcourt play - she so intense already. :-)
When she's not eating or sleeping, we have managed to get some really cute pictures of Allison. She makes some pretty funny faces sometimes and loves to sleep with her hands in the air. Hope you enjoy the pictures of Our Baby Cricket.

Cricket Comes Home!
The doctors gave us the go ahead to leave yesterday, but we decided to stay one more night just to give Liz an extra night of rest. So we woke up this morning and got our things together in preparation for our departure. The doctors came by to see the girls and signed off on both of them. Below are some pictures and descriptions of things that happened throughout the day today.

Car Ride
Two hands on the wheel!
We pull up to the house and find this in the front yard
We pull into the garage at exactly at 12:24 p.m. - Cricket's exact 3 day birthday
Speaking of pulling into the garage - My buddies Brett and Daniel came over this weekend and moved Buddy's dog house into the back yard from the garage- Thanks a million guys!
Buddy saying hello
How 'bout them Cowboys!!!
Standings as of Cricket's Birthday:
Dallas Cowboys - 8 wins, 3 losses
Pittsburgh Steelers - 6 wins, 5 losses
I have to hand it to Liz. She held up her end of the bargain. I really didn't think that she would. Cricket came home in Dallas Cowboys clothing (see post from October 15th). See below for how good our girl looks in Blue and Silver.
We're #1 !!!
Day 3 - Exactly what we had heard...
Day 3 went a lot like this:
Poop. Eat. Sleep. REPEAT
Poop. Eat. Sleep. REPEAT
Poop. Eat. Sleep. REPEAT
Poop. Eat. Sleep. REPEAT
Exactly what we had heard...Everyone said it would happen and it did.
The hospital photographer came by today to take pictures, but as we have found out, Cricket only likes her Daddy to take pictures of her. She did get to wear her "Cricket" outfit that Amy and Justin got her. She looked really cute!
Take a look below are some of the pictures from Day 3.
